My name is Sara, and I’m a mixed-media artist based in New York City.

I specialize in customization, live event painting/illustration, lettering and murals.

​I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. As a kid, I was obsessed with drawing my Barbies and Bratz dolls. When I was four years old, my preschool teacher told my mom that my drawing skills were exceptional. In fact, she still has one of my earliest drawings hanging in her office.

I graduated from the University of Michigan School of Art and Design, where I specialized in painting and fiber art. After college, I moved to New York City, where I worked as an art teacher for four years. I am now fulfilling my dream as a professional artist. 

I love to learn, and am always seeking opportunities to work with different and unexpected mediums. Outside of work, you can find me at yoga class, hanging with friends, and reminiscing about Tex-Mex food.
