These customized pieces of art are created based on a photo of your guests taken on site and are completed live in five minutes. Beyond entertainment, these portraits will become timeless keepsakes for your guests to cherish.
How it Works
Based in New York City, I provide live illustrations for wedding receptions in the tristate area and beyond. I have also performed this service for various corporate events. During the cocktail hour and reception, I sketch your guests by hand for an incredibly unique live experience! With a love for people as intrinsic as my love of art, I enjoy getting to know your guests as they’re being illustrated. Each illustration is completed at surprising speed (approximately four minutes per person) and guests get to take the original, signed artwork home with them.

Yes! I am located in New York, NY, but would love to travel. Please note that there will be a travel fee that covers time and expenses such as hotel, flight, food, and transportation.

On average, I can draw 1 guest in roughly 3-4 minutes & 2 guests in roughly 6-8 minutes. Please take into account transition times between each guest/drawing. I can approximately draw 15-20 guests per hour.
Depending on your wedding guest list size, not all guests may get drawn. Please keep in mind, not everyone will ask for a portrait as well.
I do offer an add-on package that will cover additional portraits to be completed after your wedding for those interested in a similar style and mailed directly to you to include in their thank you card. -
I can paint 1 guest in roughly 3-4 minutes, and a couple in 6-8 minutes! Every wedding is different and the flow of the night will vary! On average I can complete 55-65 guests for a 5 hour event!

I really try to limit it to three people so as many guests as possible can take artwork home at the end of the night.

They come to me! I ask that you have the venue set up a table for me with a chair. A line forms pretty organically so you want it to be located somewhere in the venue where guests can easily see me, but it won’t get in the way of caterers, bartenders, etc. if a line forms.

Nope! Photos are taken of the guests as they arrive. While your guests enjoy the evening I illustrate them in their fabulous attire. Illustrations can be picked up as they are finished or at the end of the night. Guests are always welcome to watch the live illustration process! The Illustration Station requires a table and a chair - all which are provided by the host/venue.

Included in your package is a custom 8x10” newlywed drawing that will be delivered after the wedding in a much more refined, detailed style. This allows for the couple to interact and be super present on their wedding day with their guests!

Yes, I have standard liability insurance.

Rates depend on the number of guests and the number of hours you book. The minimum booking is five hours and rates start at $3000. Please get in touch and we can discuss details.

You will begin by filling out the contact form. If I am available on your specified date, I will respond with a custom quote for booking.
Once you are ready to proceed you will see there is a contract to sign and invoice to pay. I require a $400 non-refundable retainer that will be due after the contract is signed. The rest would be due a month prior to your event.
